For beginners, these are five russian phrases everyone should know:
- Привет! (privyEt) = hello (informal)
- до свидания (da svidAn’ya) = good-bye
- Спасибо! (spasibuh) = thank you
- Хорошо (harashO) = good
- Да/ Нет (da/nyet) = yes/no
